Position: Internship – Housekeeping

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Housekeeping team in cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to Meliã standards.
• Learn and apply professional room cleaning techniques, attention to detail, and linen management procedures.
• Support the team in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
• Adhere strictly to all safety and hygiene protocols within the department.
• Work as a part of the team, supporting colleagues and ensuring an impeccable appearance for the hotel.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in Housekeeping operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order.
• Excellent team spirit, strong motivation, good personality and appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be highly motivated and eager to learn the operation of an international brand hotel in Makassar.
• A commitment to meticulous attention to detail and efficiency.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
