Position: Steward Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the stewarding team to ensure high standards of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- Manage the inventory and proper storage of all operating equipment, including chinaware and glassware
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure all equipment is ready for banquet and outlet operations
- Monitor chemical usage and ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Train stewarding staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment handling
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a stewarding supervisory role in a high volume hotel
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Organized with strong attention to equipment maintenance and loss prevention
- Reliable and willing to work in shifts including nights and weekends
- Vocational background in hospitality or a relevant field
