Position: Chief Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering department to maintain all building systems and guest room equipment.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the luxury property.
- Oversee energy conservation projects and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate with external contractors for major technical repairs and installations.
- Ensure all safety systems and building codes are strictly adhered to within the hotel.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chief Engineer in a reputable 5 star luxury hotel.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Solid leadership abilities with a focus on team technical development.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Ability to manage capital expenditure projects and departmental budgets.
- Good communication skills in English for technical reporting.
- Results oriented with a proactive approach to facility management.
