Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastry and bakery department to create high-quality desserts and breads
- Ensure all pastry production meets the resort’s refined culinary standards
- Manage and train the pastry team in innovative techniques and recipes
- Control inventory and oversee the procurement of pastry ingredients
- Coordinate with the executive chef on menu development and special events
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same position, preferably in a luxury boutique resort
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, guest satisfaction, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Indonesian
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Expert knowledge of pastry, bakery, and dessert presentation
- Strong creative and artistic flair in culinary arts
