Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the main kitchen and culinary team
- Ensure all food production meets highest standards of quality and presentation
- Lead and manage kitchen staff including training and performance oversight
- Control food costs and manage kitchen inventory and ordering
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) in the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same position, preferably in a luxury boutique resort
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, guest satisfaction, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Indonesian
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical knowledge of international and local cuisines
- Leadership skills to manage a diverse culinary team
