Position: Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery
Responsibilities:
- Lead a specific pastry or bakery section to produce high-quality items
- Supervise and train junior pastry staff and commis in recipes
- Ensure all pastry preparation and presentation meet resort standards
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering for the pastry section
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in the pastry kitchen
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same position, preferably in a luxury boutique resort
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, guest satisfaction, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Indonesian
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong skill set in pastry and bakery techniques
- Leadership ability to manage a section and train staff
