Position: Environmental Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the resort’s environmental and sustainability strategies and programs.
- Monitor and manage energy, water, and waste consumption to achieve sustainability targets.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and corporate sustainability standards.
- Lead the hotel’s “Green Team” and promote environmental awareness among colleagues and guests.
- Prepare sustainability reports and manage certifications (e.g., Green Globe).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an environmental or sustainability management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and certification processes.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and reporting skills.
- A passion for environmental conservation and sustainability.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to drive engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all hotel departments.
