Assistant Chief Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the hotel’s engineering and maintenance department.
• Supervise the maintenance team and oversee the preventative maintenance program for all machinery and equipment.
• Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems.
• Manage engineering projects and renovations as directed.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and utility consumption.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a hotel engineering department.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Familiarity with hotel safety and security standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills in English.
