Position: Complex – Asst. Sales Manager EBC
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and solicit accounts in the EBC (Events, Banquets, Catering) market segment for the complex.
- Achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets, focusing on MICE, weddings, and social events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, event planners, and corporate partners in Surabaya.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts in line with hotel standards.
- Collaborate with the F&B and Events teams to ensure flawless execution of all functions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a proactive Sales role, specifically handling EBC/Catering in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the competitive Surabaya market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Opera PMS and/or other sales management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or Marketing.
- Energetic, target-driven, and possesses a strong network of contacts in Jawa Timur.
