Position: Marketing Communications Manager

Responsibilities:

• Maintain good working relationships with local and international media.
• Maintain current media lists for local and international travel, leisure, lifestyle, entertainment, business and food editors.
• Execute media placements for hotel through news releases and personal contacts.
• Develop business and leisure travel promotions, and release to press and/or target audiences.
• Maintain and update the hotel’s website.
• Submit stories and photos to media regularly and monitor news coverage.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing Communications or Public Relations or 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in a midscale hotel.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and highly reliable in thorough execution and follow through.
• Ability to work well in stressful & high pressure situations.
• A team player & builder.
• A motivator & self starter.
• Well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
