Position: Marketing Communications Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain good working relationships with local and international media.
- Maintain current media lists for local and international travel, leisure, lifestyle, entertainment, business and food editors.
- Execute media placements for hotel through news releases and personal contacts.
- Develop business and leisure travel promotions, and release to press and/or target audiences.
- Maintain and update the hotel’s website.
- Submit stories and photos to media regularly and monitor news coverage.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing Communications or Public Relations or 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in a midscale hotel.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail oriented and highly reliable in thorough execution and follow through.
- Ability to work well in stressful & high pressure situations.
- A team player & builder.
- A motivator & self starter.
- Well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
