Position: Commis – Butcher

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion meat, poultry, and fish according to standards.
• Ensure all butchery items are stored correctly and meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the butchery station and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation for meat products.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Commis or apprentice in a butchery.
• Good knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
• Understanding of food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passionate about a culinary career.
