Position: Commis Hot & Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in the hot kitchen and pastry sections with food preparation.
- Prepare ingredients (mise en place) as required.
- Cook basic dishes and prepare pastry items according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Learn and develop new culinary skills.
Qualifications:
- Fresh graduate from a culinary school or minimum 1 year of experience as a Commis.
- Basic knowledge of both hot cooking and pastry techniques.
- Hardworking, eager to learn, and passionate about a culinary career.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene.
