Position: Jr. Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sous Chef in managing a specific kitchen section or outlet.
• Supervise, train, and guide Demi Chefs and Commis in food preparation and presentation.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP) standards.
• Assist with menu planning, recipe development, ordering, and inventory control.
• Step in to lead the section in the Sous Chef’s absence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Jr. Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a 5 star luxury hotel.
• Strong culinary skills and creativity in a specific cuisine (e.g., Western, Asian, Garde Manger).
• Good leadership, training, and organizational skills.
• In depth knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene, and cost control.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• A culinary diploma or equivalent professional training.
• Passionate about culinary excellence.
