JW Marriott Bali Ubud Resort & Spa
Located on a 2.8-hectare property, JW Marriott Bali Ubud Resort & Spa is a pre-opening hotel featuring 100 rooms, including guestrooms, suites, and villas. The resort faces west, offering stunning sunset views and lush forest scenery. Dining options include an open kitchen and buffet restaurant, specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, and pool bar. We are estimated to open in Q2 2026 and are offering premier hotel jobs in Ubud.
Our amenities include two meeting rooms, two pool areas, a fitness center, spa, and kid’s club. The resort is just a 5-minute drive from Jalan Raya Payangan and accessible to attractions like Payung Rafting Bali, Keliki Painting School, Tegallalang Rice Terrace, and various cafes, restaurants, and temples in Ubud Town. We are seeking passionate professionals to join our pre-opening team and build rewarding hospitality careers in Bali.
Position: Senior Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-opening setup and daily operations of the pastry and bakery kitchen.
- Design and develop innovative pastry, dessert, and bread menus for all dining outlets.
- Train, mentor, and supervise the pastry team to ensure high quality and consistency.
- Manage inventory, ordering of pastry ingredients, and cost control.
- Ensure strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Pastry Chef leadership role in a 5-star hotel.
- Exceptional creativity and technical skills in pastry, chocolate, and bakery.
- Pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team development abilities.
- Ability to manage costs and kitchen operations effectively.
- Culinary diploma in pastry arts.
- Passionate about delivering luxury culinary experiences.
