Position: Account Payable
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all accounts payable transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Verify, classify, and record invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including bank transfers and checks.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries.
- Assist with month end closing procedures and financial reporting related to AP.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or general accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SunSystems).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
