Position: Chinese Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Chinese kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality.
• Specialize in authentic Chinese cuisine, including wok, dim sum, and banquet dishes.
• Develop menus, control food costs, and manage kitchen inventory.
• Train and mentor the Chinese kitchen brigade, ensuring consistency and proper techniques.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a five star hotel’s Chinese kitchen.
• Expertise in a wide range of Chinese culinary techniques.
• Strong leadership, training, and kitchen management skills.
• Ability to manage high volume production for restaurants and banquets.
• Creative approach to menu planning and presentation.
• Strong understanding of food cost control and HACCP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
