Position: Commis (Hot Kitchen) – Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under supervision.
• Follow recipes and kitchen guidelines to ensure consistent food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and workstations.
• Support with stock rotation, labeling, and storing food properly.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or as a Commis is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work part time shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Culinary school certificate is an advantage.
