Position: Commis (Pastry) – Part Time
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, bread, desserts, and other baked goods.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
- Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assist in inventory control and report shortages or spoilage.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a pastry or bakery role is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Willing to work part time shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
