Position: Commis (Pastry) – Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, bread, desserts, and other baked goods.
• Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.
• Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Assist in inventory control and report shortages or spoilage.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pastry or bakery role is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Willing to work part time shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
