Position: Demi Chef – Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing a variety of pastry, bakery, and dessert items.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station in the pastry kitchen.
- Monitor inventory of pastry ingredients and assist with ordering.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef or Commis in a pastry kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
- Creativity and passion for creating high quality desserts and baked goods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
- Good understanding of food safety standards.
- Formal culinary or pastry arts training is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and presentation.
