Position: Demi Chef – Pastry

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing a variety of pastry, bakery, and dessert items.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station in the pastry kitchen.
• Monitor inventory of pastry ingredients and assist with ordering.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef or Commis in a pastry kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
• Creativity and passion for creating high quality desserts and baked goods.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Good understanding of food safety standards.
• Formal culinary or pastry arts training is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and presentation.
