Position: Demi Chef de Partie, Sushi

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high quality sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to standards.
• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the sushi station.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Maintain inventory of fish, rice, and other sushi ingredients.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a high quality Japanese restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge and skills in sushi and sashimi preparation.
• Creativity and precision in food presentation.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A team player with a passion for Japanese cuisine.
• Formal culinary training is preferred.
