Position: CDP Pastry & Bakery

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the production of all pastry, bakery items, and desserts, ensuring creativity and high quality.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to standardized recipes, presentation guidelines, and portion control for all items.
  • Manage inventory, minimize waste, and control costs within the Pastry & Bakery section.
  • Train and supervise junior pastry staff, fostering a highly motivated and skilled production team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP) in the Pastry Kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Pastry & Bakery, preferably in a 4-5 star resort or high-volume environment.
  • Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, chocolate work, and modern dessert presentation.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and delegation skills for managing a specialized kitchen section.
  • Ability to innovate and create seasonal or special event menus and items.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, costing, and general kitchen administration.
  • A genuine passion for culinary arts and teamwork.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
