Position: Guest Service Agent (Mandarin Speaker)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional check-in, check-out, and guest service experiences, specifically catering to Mandarin-speaking guests.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Chinese guests, addressing their needs and inquiries accurately and courteously in their native language.
  • Manage room assignments, guest preferences, and ensure all requests are followed up efficiently.
  • Process all front office transactions, including cash and credit card payments, accurately.
  • Communicate proactively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high guest satisfaction, particularly for the Chinese market segment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Guest Service Agent, GSA, or Front Desk position in a 4-5 star hotel in Bali.
  • Mandarin language fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory to service the high volume of Chinese guests.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a Guest Relations role.
  • Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard front office procedures.
  • Excellent grooming and a highly professional, outgoing demeanor, fitting the IHG brand standards.
  • A pleasant personality and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent English proficiency is also required.
