Position: Guest Service Agent (Mandarin Speaker)
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional check-in, check-out, and guest service experiences, specifically catering to Mandarin-speaking guests.
- Act as the main point of contact for Chinese guests, addressing their needs and inquiries accurately and courteously in their native language.
- Manage room assignments, guest preferences, and ensure all requests are followed up efficiently.
- Process all front office transactions, including cash and credit card payments, accurately.
- Communicate proactively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high guest satisfaction, particularly for the Chinese market segment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Guest Service Agent, GSA, or Front Desk position in a 4-5 star hotel in Bali.
- Mandarin language fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory to service the high volume of Chinese guests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for a Guest Relations role.
- Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard front office procedures.
- Excellent grooming and a highly professional, outgoing demeanor, fitting the IHG brand standards.
- A pleasant personality and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent English proficiency is also required.
