Position: Sales Manager – Wedding & Social Event

About the Role:

  • Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying Novotel brand’s mindset.
  • Responsible for sales and booking all weddings and social events.
  • Ensure all bookings are carried out successfully from start to finish including booking, contracts, payments, preparing timelines, vendor communication, continued communication with clients, rehearsal schedules and event day preparation.
  • Responsible for managing vendors, creating timelines, and ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly.
  • Constant communication with appropriate Novotel Samator team members to make sure event details are relayed to the proper people for successful execution.

Your Skills & Experiences:

  • Positive personality, excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multi-task, make decisions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Developed strong relationships with wedding planners, vendors, and corporate clients to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Min. 2 years of experience at the same position in a Midscale International business hotel with min. 250 rooms.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and manage event budgets.
  • Creative and passionate about delivering memorable events for clients.
