Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-opening and management of the hotel’s pastry and bakery department.
- Design and create an exceptional selection of pastries, desserts, breads, and cakes for all outlets and events.
- Manage the pastry team, ensuring creativity, precision, and quality.
- Control pastry food cost, inventory, and kitchen hygiene.
- Innovate and develop new pastry items that reflect timeless elegance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Head Pastry Chef in a 5-star luxury hotel.
- Exceptional skills in classical pastry, baking, chocolate work, and modern dessert creation.
- A creative and artistic leader with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong team management and training abilities.
- Experience in a pre-opening environment is highly valued.
- Passionate about quality and innovation in the pastry arts.
- Experience in the Surabaya culinary market is a plus.
