Position: Demi Chef

Responsibilities:

• Manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
• Assist the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie with food preparation and plating.
• Train and supervise Commis chefs working on the station.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Monitor inventory for the station and assist with ordering.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef or senior Commis in a quality hotel or restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a specific kitchen section.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Culinary certification is a plus.
• Passion for creativity and quality in food production.
