Position: Demi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Manage a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie with food preparation and plating.
- Train and supervise Commis chefs working on the station.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Monitor inventory for the station and assist with ordering.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef or senior Commis in a quality hotel or restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a specific kitchen section.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Culinary certification is a plus.
- Passion for creativity and quality in food production.
