Position: Demi Chef – The Restaurant (Chinese Cuisine)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a specific station within the Chinese kitchen of The Restaurant.
- Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Assist the Sous Chef with food preparation, inventory, and ordering.
- Ensure the station is kept clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Train and supervise Commis chefs on the station.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef or senior Commis, specializing in Chinese Cuisine.
- Strong skills in Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., wok, dim sum, roasting).
- Passionate about authentic Chinese food and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Experience in a 5-star hotel kitchen is preferred.
