Position: Demi – Pastry

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of all pastry, bakery, and dessert items.
• Manage a pastry station, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Prepare items for the hotel’s dining venues and banquet events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pastry kitchen.
• Follow recipes precisely and assist with inventory control.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef or senior Commis in a hotel pastry kitchen.
• Strong skills in baking, pastry, and dessert presentation.
• A passion for creativity in the pastry arts.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work well as part of a dynamic team.
• Talented and hardworking with a desire to learn.
• Culinary certification in pastry is an advantage.
