Position: Commis Hot & Pastry

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs in the hot kitchen and pastry sections with food preparation.
• Prepare ingredients (mise en place) as required.
• Cook basic dishes and prepare pastry items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Learn and develop new culinary skills.

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduate from a culinary school or minimum 1 year of experience as a Commis.
• Basic knowledge of both hot cooking and pastry techniques.
• Hardworking, eager to learn, and passionate about a culinary career.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene.
