Position: Demi Chef

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef De Partie in managing the kitchen section.
• Prepare and cook food items as instructed, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Supervise Commis chefs and provide guidance.
• Help maintain kitchen inventory and control food waste.
• Ensure the workstation is kept clean and sanitary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar kitchen role (e.g., senior Commis or Demi Chef).
• Good culinary skills and a passion for cooking.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Hotel school background is an advantage.
