Position: Demi Chef
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef De Partie in managing the kitchen section.
- Prepare and cook food items as instructed, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Supervise Commis chefs and provide guidance.
- Help maintain kitchen inventory and control food waste.
- Ensure the workstation is kept clean and sanitary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar kitchen role (e.g., senior Commis or Demi Chef).
- Good culinary skills and a passion for cooking.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Hotel school background is an advantage.
