Position: Sales Manager – Wedding and Social Event
Responsibilities:
- Proactively solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business for wedding and social event segments.
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase the hotel’s event facilities.
- Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
- Coordinate with clients and internal departments (Culinary, F&B Service, Banquets) to ensure flawless event execution.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for the social event market.
- Build and maintain relationships with local wedding planners, vendors, and community organizations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, specializing in wedding or social events, at a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Strong network of contacts in the Surabaya wedding and event industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
- Proficient in sales and catering software.
