Position: Sales Manager – Wedding and Social Event

Responsibilities:

• Proactively solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business for wedding and social event segments.
• Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase the hotel’s event facilities.
• Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments (Culinary, F&B Service, Banquets) to ensure flawless event execution.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets for the social event market.
• Build and maintain relationships with local wedding planners, vendors, and community organizations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager, specializing in wedding or social events, at a 4 or 5 star hotel.
• Strong network of contacts in the Surabaya wedding and event industry.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Polished communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
• Proficient in sales and catering software.
