Position: Senior Sales Manager MICE
Responsibilities:
- Proactively solicit and manage MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) accounts for the resort.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve MICE revenue targets, focusing on corporate, association, and incentive markets.
- Build strong relationships with PCOs, event planners, and key clients locally and internationally (especially Singapore).
- Conduct site inspections, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage event handovers to the operations team.
- Represent the resort at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to promote Bintan as a MICE destination.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a proactive MICE sales role within a 5-star hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network of MICE contacts, particularly in the Singapore and Jakarta markets.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic pre-opening team.
- Proficient in sales CRM and hotel systems (e.g., Opera Sales & Catering).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
