Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon is a stunning new 5-star beach getaway destination, set to introduce Swiss-inspired hospitality to Bintan. Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, just an hour by ferry from Singapore, our pre-opening resort will feature 420 rooms & suites, two golf courses, three lagoon swimming pools, unique restaurant concepts including a two-storey beach club, and spacious event spaces. Position: Guest Experience Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and elevate the entire guest journey, from pre-arrival to post-departure.
- Manage guest relations, handling VIP arrivals, special requests, and service recovery.
- Analyze guest feedback (GSS) and implement action plans to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor front-line staff on brand standards, upselling, and personalized service.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Guest Relations or Front Office leadership role in a luxury resort.
- Passion for guest service and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with Opera PMS and guest feedback management platforms.
- Ability to create memorable experiences and anticipate guest needs.
- Previous pre-opening or Bintan/resort experience is an asset.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus.
