Position: Duty Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the resort’s facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
- Operate and maintain key plant equipment (e.g., HVAC, boilers, chillers, generators, pools).
- Respond to all maintenance requests and guest complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks and rounds.
- Lead the engineering shift team and ensure compliance with safety and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Duty Engineer or Engineering Supervisor in a large resort.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Experience with hotel-specific equipment (pools, kitchen, laundry) is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Pre-opening experience in Bintan or a similar resort location is preferred.
