Position: Chief Engineering (Job ID 25167584)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Engineering department, overseeing all aspects of resort maintenance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all facilities, equipment, and guest rooms.
- Manage the resort’s energy consumption, sustainability programs, and utility systems.
- Oversee all capital expenditure projects, renovations, and new installations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all local safety, fire, and building regulations.
- Manage the engineering budget, spare parts inventory, and third-party contracts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Chief Engineer or senior engineering leadership role, preferably in a 5-star beachfront resort.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC, and kitchen/laundry equipment.
- Proven experience in project management and budget control.
- In-depth understanding of preventative maintenance and asset management systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
- Certified in safety and risk management.
