Position: Assistant Director of Sales
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Sales in leading the sales team and developing strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
- Manage key corporate and MICE accounts, and actively seek new business opportunities in the Surabaya market.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and create proactive sales plans.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with the DOS.
- Mentor and train the sales team to ensure high performance and career growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Director of Sales or senior Sales Manager in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Surabaya industrial and corporate market segments.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
- Expertise in sales software (e.g., Opera Sales & Catering) and PMS.
- A results-driven and proactive attitude.
