Position: Chef de Partie – Elevated Indonesian Cuisine
Responsibilities:
- Manage a specific station in the kitchen, specializing in elevated and modern Indonesian cuisine.
- Prepare, cook, and present high quality dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Assist the Sous Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
- Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene and food safety (HACCP) standards.
- Train and supervise Demi Chefs and Commis in the station.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, with a strong specialization in Indonesian cuisine.
- Creative flair and passion for elevating traditional Indonesian dishes.
- Experience in a 5-star hotel or high end dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
