Position: Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Pastry Kitchen team and operations.
- Develop, innovate, and execute a diverse range of pastry, dessert, and bread items.
- Oversee the quality and presentation of all baked goods and sweets.
- Control raw material costs, ordering, and inventory for the pastry section.
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff (Commis, Demi Chefs).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or resort.
- Exceptional creativity and technical skill in all aspects of pastry arts and baking.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage kitchen production schedules.
- Deep knowledge of food hygiene specific to the pastry area.
- Excellent organizational skills for stock rotation and minimizing waste.
- Culinary degree with a specialization in Pastry is highly preferred.
- Willingness to create unique pastry concepts tailored for the Anyer resort’s guests.
