Position: Sous Chef
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Help plan menus and supervise food preparation to maintain consistency
- Maintain high quality and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen
- Guide, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Sous Chef or senior-level culinary role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, and menu planning
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff
- Excellent understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary school certificate or relevant qualification preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
