Position: Commis – Japanese Restaurant
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of Japanese cuisine dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and stored correctly according to standards
- Follow recipes and portion control instructions precisely
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Japanese kitchen or culinary school background
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients
- Willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good hygiene practices and attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Flexible availability for shift work
