Position: Sous Chef – Chinese Restaurant
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing the Chinese kitchen operations and menu planning
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation for all Chinese dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in authentic Chinese culinary techniques
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the food preparation area
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste through efficient inventory management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese culinary traditions and cooking methods
- Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse kitchen team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity in menu development and food presentation
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Good communication skills and team spirit
