Position: Chief Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of hotel maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Lead and supervise the engineering team in daily operations and emergency repairs
- Oversee energy conservation programs and sustainability initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Manage the engineering budget and coordinate with contractors for major projects
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience as a Chief Engineer or Assistant in a large scale hotel
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead a technical team
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Passion for maintaining a luxury property in peak condition
