Position: CDP Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily production of pastry and bakery items ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef on menu creation and seasonal dessert offerings.
- Manage inventory levels for pastry ingredients and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Lead and train the commis team on advanced pastry techniques and plating standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed in the pastry section.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the same position within a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant culinary or hospitality field.
- Capability of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in delivering excellent service for guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Creative flair for modern pastry presentation and chocolate work.
- Deep understanding of food cost control and ingredient management.
