Position: Commis (Pastry)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake basic pastry items including cakes, cookies, and breads according to recipes.
- Assist the CDP Pastry in plating desserts for events and dining outlets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen station.
- Monitor expiration dates and freshness of all pastry supplies.
- Contribute to the setup of breakfast pastry buffets and amenities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a pastry kitchen or relevant culinary internship is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or culinary vocational school.
- Team spirit and service-minded attitude.
- Capability of working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on details.
- Proficiency in basic English for technical terminology.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new pastry skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
