Position: Chief Engineer (Job ID: 25192005)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the maintenance operations of the entire property, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Manage the engineering department budget and implement energy-saving initiatives to optimize operational costs.
- Ensure all building systems comply with safety regulations and Marriott global brand standards.
- Coordinate large-scale renovation projects and routine preventative maintenance schedules for 227 guest rooms and public areas.
- Lead and mentor the engineering team to ensure high technical performance and rapid response to guest requests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of HVAC, water treatment, and electrical infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a focus on cost efficiency.
- Relevant educational degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-traffic airport hotel setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
