Position: Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the engineering department to maintain all building structures and mechanical systems.
  • Implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs across the luxury resort facilities.
  • Manage department budgets, vendor contracts, and large-scale capital expenditure projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the engineering team to achieve operational excellence in a 5-star environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical field with extensive leadership experience.
  • Proven track record as a Chief Engineer or Assistant in luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and water treatment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills for high-standard properties.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and diverse technical teams.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for this role.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a guest-centric approach to facility management.
