Position: Commis Pastry

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, and desserts
  • Ensure all pastry items are decorated and presented to hotel standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen work area
  • Support the pastry chef in developing new dessert menu items
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper storage of pastry ingredients

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the same position or a similar pastry role
  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry equipment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary department
