Position: Commis Pastry
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Ensure all pastry items are decorated and presented to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen work area
- Support the pastry chef in developing new dessert menu items
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper storage of pastry ingredients
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in the same position or a similar pastry role
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Team player with a good personality
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry equipment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary department
- High standards of hygiene and personal grooming
- Ability to follow precise recipes and instructions
