Position: Assistant Banquet Manager
Responsibilities:
- Support the Banquet Manager in overseeing daily event operations and staff coordination
- Lead the banquet team in providing high quality food and beverage service during scheduled events
- Assist in event set ups and breakdowns, ensuring all venues meet Marriott standards
- Address guest feedback during events to ensure immediate resolution and satisfaction
- Contribute to staff training and performance management within the banquet department
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a banquet supervisor or assistant manager in an upscale environment
- Strong operational knowledge of banquet service sequences and event logistics
- Effective communication skills and a hands on leadership approach
- Fluent in English to coordinate with diverse event stakeholders
- Reliable and able to handle multi tasking in a high pressure event setting
- Attention to detail in maintaining event facility standards
- Passion for hospitality and team development
