Position: Chief Steward

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the stewarding department to ensure kitchen hygiene and equipment cleanliness
  • Oversee inventory management of chemicals, china, glassware, and silver
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules for all F&B production areas and equipment
  • Train staff on the safe use of chemicals and dishwashing machinery
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and food safety sanitation standards

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Steward or Assistant in a large-scale hotel operation
  • Deep knowledge of sanitation regulations and kitchen safety protocols
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a large team
  • Experience in budget management and inventory control
  • Disciplined approach to maintaining high hygiene standards
  • Physical stamina to work in a demanding kitchen environment
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with the culinary team
